The Padre Pio Shrine of Little Neck was born from the lifelong devotion of Giuseppe Oppedisano, owner of Il Bacco Ristorante.

For many years, Giuseppe made pilgrimages to San Giovanni Rotondo to pray at the shrine of Padre Pio. He dreamed of bringing a place of prayer to his own community — somewhere neighbors, families, and loved ones could gather in faith.
After surviving a tragic plane crash that claimed the life of a close friend, Giuseppe experienced a profound moment while recovering in the hospital: Padre Pio appeared to him and assured him he would recover.
From that moment, the vision became a mission.
Today, with the support of family, donors, and the community, that mission is becoming reality — a sacred space where faith, hope, and miracles can be shared by all.
